The Spool Dr Spooling Station is designed for use with larger spools and spools with a larger diameter hole. This unit comes with 2, 20" long 1/2" diameter rods and one 10" x 1 3/8" rod. You can select either the interior door or exterior door model. They differ by the size of the opening that fits over the door. If you plan on using this on an interior door (standard door is 1 7/16") then order the interior model, If you plan on using on exterior doors (standard dimension 1 3/4") then order the exterior model. Also included in this package is an adhesive back line cutter from Line Cutterz. Just adhere to the side of your bracket and you won't be looking for a cutting device when you are spooling. ($12.99 retail value), and two 5 packs of the Line Dr tensioning bands. One PRO and one Line Dr ($22.90 retail value). Just install the Line Dr on your spools, slide onto the rod, insert the clips, and hang the brackets on the door to set the rod into the brackets. Have the elastic tensionsers just snug, not over tight and start spooling up your reels. No need to remove reels from rods. Extra Aluminum Rods can be purchased so you can store your line on each rod by type. Braid, Mono, Flouro. Just lift off the rod from the bracket and drop the next rod on. That makes it easy to change line types. No plastic to break. Made from 16 Gauge 304 stainless steel and the rods are solid aluminum. For Baitcaster reels the line should come off the top. For spinning reels the line should come off the bottom. Just turn the rod over.
If you want extra rods I suggest buying them at the time you purchase your PRO spooling station because the shipping cost of a rod by itself is more than the cost of the product due to it's length! Post Office rule not mine.
